     *Avis Degaust is education director for Citizens for a Safe Learning Environment (CASLE),  an information based organization that works with parents, teachers, and school boards to improve indoor air quality in Nova Scotia schools and to provide children with healthy places in which to learn and staff members with healthy buildings in which to work.
